What can I say? Leftovers are leftovers, and they look like it! Here’s my leftover Rotini, broccoli and ham casserole from last night with my new water bottle :D

I may head out to another grocery store this afternoon since it’s such a nice day out and I could use some fresh air and walking. If I do, you may get lucky and see something different for supper! If not, it will be leftover tuna casserole. I guess that’s how it works when you live alone, there’s nobody else to eat the leftovers.

 


Supper time!

I guess I was wrong about the snack! Maybe I didn’t need it since I ate a late lunch.

For supper tonight, I made “Rotini Bopper” from the cookbook “Crazy Plates”. There’s whole wheat pasta, broccoli, mushrooms, cream of mushroom soup, cheddar cheese and I added some ham to round out the meal. I seem to be having a comfort food day today, but it’s OK because these are all really healthy recipes. Look out for leftovers tomorrow though!

Comfort Food (supper)

For supper tonight I had Annie’s Organics Shells and white cheddar (or something like that, I threw out the box already). I mixed in some peas and ham for veggies and protein. YUMMY!! Way better than KD!!

Now I’m off to do some more school work :( I may do some biking too, but O’m still undecided on that part.

Edited to add: I decided to try some kale chips as seen on Kath’s blog… they are interesting, but I don’t think I will make them again. I just didn’t really like the leafy green taste!

Edited (again!) to add: OK, so I saw Ice cream and I just HAD to have some… I had Ben & Jerries Peanut Butter Tracks and WAY too much of it! I am stuffed and feeling so huge now ugh! :( And on to p of tha, there’s no photo!

 

Repeat to yourself: Tomorrow is another day, tomorrow is another day… GRRR so mad at myself! I know it’s partly my body responding to fatigue – between lack of sleep, school stress, stressfull decision-making and training, my body is crying for energy! Why did I have to give in and feed it sugar though, I know better than that!


Sleepy… (lunch)

This morning I went to class and then to the gym as planned. Once I got to class, I realized just how tired I am today! I was having trouble keeping my mind on the presentation, so I know I’ll have some catching up to do later. At the gym, I did a bit of everything – back, shoulders, abs, legs… but I did cut out some ab work by saying “I’ll do it at home…” Now I just have to do that!

Here’s my lunch, which I ate a bit early today so stay tuned for my snack post! I just re-heated some leftover ham, rice and mushrooms.

Now I think I’ll go take a nap before I tackle my sociology assignment. After that, I’m supposed to have another training session, but we’ll see how I feel.

Update: After my nap, I was hungry so I had another small bowl of oats. It was actually leftover from the one this morning (wasn’t really hungry this AM), so I didn’t take a photo. Off to get some work done :(
