Pasta? Pizza? Maybe Both!

April 23, 2008

Another day of study study study! I broke it up today though with a class and a trip to the store, where I bought a larabar for tomorrow. Yes, I went all the way there for a bar to eat between exams! I think the real reason was for a study break though  It was a beautiful day to walk outside too!

Lunch was leftover pasta from the other day. I’m too tired to remember what it was called (from Looneyspoons though), but it was good again as leftovers.

Sorry for the blurry photos, I’m not a good photographer today!

I got a bit hungry during the afternoon (or it may have been exam nibbles… hard to tell) so I had a bowl of yogurt and a kiwi. I found a steak knife that wasn’t packed, so I even managed to cut it!

So, I would really have loved some pizza for supper but that just wasn’t in the plan for today. What did I have instead? A pasta pizza, no recipe again though because it’s from Looneyspoons again. Last one for a while though :P

On a side note, please excuse any typos – especially words with an L – my keyboard is being stubborn. Here’s what heppens when I hit L once llllllll GRRR! I don’t have time for computer problems now!

Oops, I almost forgot the most important part – the last of the soy chocolate PB ice cream!

Leftovers and a sweet treat

April 19, 2008

I’ll start with the leftovers – not much to say here, same as last night minus the nice presentation!

Pineapple Chicken Stir-Fry à la micro-onde. Easy, tasty, perfect for an easy lunch after a not-so-easy breakfast

On to the part where I have a guilty look on my face: desert! At lunch!

Chocolate Peanut Butter “ice cream” straight from the tub  By now, you probably get that I hate washing dishes, so I try not to unnecessarily dirty bowls. Apparently today this didn’t merit dishes :P Do note that I did manage some portion control, even without a bowl – I did not eat the whole thing (as it may appear in the photo!) Now I’m going to get my butt to the computer lab to get some work done. Yes, I own a computer and still need to go to the lab for the programs I need – so frustrating!

Sleep tight

April 17, 2008

I’m off to bed after my second last super long day! I’m definitely ready to crash and I hope I fall asleep right away!

As I thought, I got really hungry at around 3PM. I made my free soup, which was really yummy – Butternut Squash by Gardennay. It’s not the absolute best choice with cream, sugar and butter on the list of ingredients, but it was perfect for a quick light meal/snack. I dipped a few wedges od tortilla in it just to have something on the side.

Dinner was some brown rice, some chopped peppers and a chickpea cutlet. Pretty simple and plain, but still healthy considering I ate my planned dinner last night! Unfortunately, in my sleepy state, I just deleted the photo instead of inserting it into the post  And, to top it off, I had already deleted it from my camera as I just did a clean-up.

Finally, on my way home I stopped at the grocery store – no post about that though because I only bought veggies and fruit (moving soon so cleaning out the pantry) and one amazing find – So Delicious Chocolate Peanut Butter “ice cream”!

Phew! I didn’t hit delete this time! I’ve been reading about this on Kath’s blog and I didn’t think it was available around here, but I found it and I had to have it. At least, I think it’s the same thing and if not, it’s still a peanut buttery chocolatey yummy desert

Now, off to bed before I do any more stupid things
